LOVE.
The deepest love is not concerned with outcomes. It keeps going no matter what goes on around it. Love on, lovers.
I am in love with the natural world and I really enjoy sharing it with others. Learning how to meet your needs in the natural world with your own two hands is an incredibly empowering experience, and helping people learn these skills is my pleasure. I help people with modern emergency preparedness planning as well.
Folks, we live in an era of rapid change and instability which is unprecedented in modern history. Multiple crises are converging in a way that will test the the ability of humans to adapt and evolve to live in a truly sustainable way on Earth. New Culture Earthskills is my effort to identify and address humanity's 21st century challenges. Let's reason & work it out together.
The living natural world is way more awesome than anything humans could ever create.
Civilization as humans have lived it for that past 10,000+ years is inherently unsustainable. Every civilization experiences a rise, peak and collapse. Without going into detail, that's just how civilization works. It's built to fail. Check history. The current global industrial civilization happens to be causing worldwide ecological collapse after peaking and beginning its decline. Industrial civilization is waging war against all life on the planet via its short-sighted, cruel and unusual economy.
If we continue to live the way we do, we will systematically destroy most or all of Earth's biosphere, including our own species. It seems that we should do all we can to phase out industrial civilization while simultaneously encouraging the design and development of sustainable cultures if we are interested in life continuing on our planet at all.
I sincerely hope that humans get it right this time around or we may not have another chance.
